Crew
ALEX TAIC (Director, Editor, Writer)
is an emerging filmmaker who is currently finishing his studies at Temple
University. He has written, directed, and produced 3 shorts, 2 to 5
minute films. While at Temple, he produced a Senior Project called Rockaway
which exposed him to the difficulties getting a script filmed and edited for
public viewing. Alex also has set experience as a Production Assistant in
several professional film productions, which have taught him the difficulties
that can come up during the making of a film. He hopes to use The Journey as a catalyst for further
work as a director or producer.
MELISSA DE LEON (Producer) is an emerging filmmaker, whose passion for creativity started at an early age, when she discovered that she loved writing. Soon that love for writing opened a door to other venues of creativity. Melissa is currently working on several projects. Including, a film called Enchantment of Deceit and a horror script to be shot for Monster Mania Con’s film contest. She is also working on several short stories for Inkpop.com and soon will be making some promotional videos for Mighty Writers, a nonprofit organization in Philadelphia. The Journey marks her first foray into producing and she is so far enjoying her experience.
MICHAEL MARCHETTI (Producer) is a sophomore at Temple University. Although The Journey marks his first foray into producing, he is excited about bringing his experience with building strong narrative fiction and realistic practical effects to the production. He is currently heavily involved in production for another student film, Sex: A Horror Story and his own short film Snap. Michael is serving as the Event Coordinator for the Temple Film Collective, Temple's first student group focusing on the creation of films.
WYATT FERTIG (Director of Photography) is a junior at Temple University. He is from Chicago, where he worked for a summer as a professional PA/Grip before attending Temple. He is an aspiring professional DP who has worked on several senior projects and graduate student theses. He is actively pursuing a career in production and still photography and aims to go to LA this summer.
